Rustic Den Boutique: A Story of Transformation and Passion

What began as The Rustic Stamp in 2015, started as a Christmas gift from my husband – a metal stamping kit – soon became a passion for creating one-of-a-kind gifts that brought joy to others. When COVID hit in 2020, our family's finances were hit hard, but it opened the door for me to evaluate my business and make new decisions for the future. In 2021, I rebranded my business as Rustic Den Boutique, which allowed me to expand into the world of laser cutting and engraving, providing a wider range of unique gifts for my customers. By 2023, I decided to focus solely on laser engraving, which brought me the most joy. Crafting and creating have always been my passions, and owning my own business has allowed me to channel them into something meaningful. Additionally, it has provided the flexibility to homeschool my children while working from home. In early 2023, my mom made the decision to join my business, bringing with her a line of layered wall art and engraved cutting boards.

Meet the Owner and Artist

Introducing Melissa, the Creative Force Behind Rustic Den Boutique
Meet Melissa, the owner of Rustic Den Boutique! She manages all aspects of the business, from design work to sales. Melissa's passion for creating unique items for her customers is evident in the high-quality products she produces. When she's not working on her business, Melissa is a devoted wife and mother of two. As a homeschooling mom, she enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring nature and teaching her kids in unique ways. Her love for music and art also keeps her busy and inspired.

Meet My Co-Artist

Introducing one of my favorite people in this world, my mom and co-artist in this business, Kathy. Kathy is a talented artist and loving mother and grandmother who joined the Rustic Den Boutique team in early 2023, creating layered wall art and engraved cutting boards. She is passionate about art in all its forms and enjoys spending time with her family, especially camping at the ocean with her grandkids. Kathy also runs her own business called The Farmhouse Sign, where she creates beautiful hand-painted signs. You can find that site here.
